Our consultants and analysts work in conjunction with our client teams to identify and resolve potential issues long before they even happen.
As a Senior Manager on our Markets Enablement team, you will be right at the heart of that mission, using your experience to create solutions and drive a team to help our clients in an ever-changing environment.
Working closely with consultants across the business, you will help define the future of cybersecurity managed services for our clients.
The Opportunity
At EY’s Cybersecurity Managed Services there is no such thing as a typical day – every day brings forth new objectives and challenges to solve for our clients.
We are seeking an experienced senior manager consultant who is keen to support our client challenges, develop in-depth technical knowledge and provide exceptional client service.
As a part of our Markets Enablement team, you will play a critical role in providing quality cybersecurity support services to our client organizations.
We look for individuals who have a passion for cybersecurity and managed services, along with optimal critical thinking and customer service skills.
You can expect to work across multiple industries, support complex environments and develop key client relationships.
You will be responsible for leading geographically and culturally diverse teams of subject matter experts to craft a managed service solution for our client’s unique environments.
Successful candidates will have prior experience in solutioning and managing pursuit teams that provide managed services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and manage multiple concurrent cybersecurity managed services pursuit teams that have diverse skills and backgrounds
- Build an internal network across service lines to generate new business opportunities and develop and maintain long-term client relationships to expand the business
- Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to serve clients
- Lead pursuits, oversee creation of proposals and manage sales processes
- Provide support for selling engagements and expanding current engagements
- Review and understand financial metrics and ensure the solution falls within approved parameters
- Provides initial draft of statements of work, align with master services agreements and assists with contract negotiations
- Review the team’s ongoing work products and play an active role in counselling and mentoring staff and managers within the firm
- Provide subject matter expertise to client’s executive management and internal teams
- Consistently deliver quality client services by driving high-quality work products within expected timeframes and financial guidelines
- Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes

- Stays abreast of industry-leading vendors in the Managed Security Services space and applicable technology vendors products and road maps
- Excellent presentation skills to client executive leadership (CIO, CFO, CISO, etc.)
- Effectively communicates across multiple collaboration platforms and written communications
- Communicates issues and seeks support in a timely manner to eliminate roadblocks and drive collaboration, speed, innovation and excellence
- Makes well-informed decisions and champions enhancements of new products for the product line supporting the overall business strategy
- Contract creation, review and negotiation for Statements of Work
- Continually monitors competitor, industry development and business trends
- Ability to lead globally diverse team
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A bachelors degree and approximately 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 7 years of related work experience in the fields of Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related major
- A minimum of 6+ years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas:
- IT Outsourcing pursuit or tower lead, or
- Cyber security Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) solutioning
- A strong understanding of the security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53 and the cybersecurity laws and regulations such as HIPAA, FISMA and GLBA
- An understanding of the IT security technologies and tools
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and related collaboration technologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage large scale pursuit teams and develop new engagement opportunities in the managed services space
- Ability to create relationships within the Cyber security or IT executive ranks (e.g., CIO, CISO, Director of Cyber security, SVP and VP of Cyber security)
- Excellent leadership and teaming skills with advanced written and verbal communication skills
- CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CRISC or other relevant certification desired; non-certified hires are required to become certified within 1 year from the date of hire
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 25-50%
- A valid drivers license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally
