Customer Quality Manager (FTE)

This is a Full-time position in Phoenix, AZ posted February 7, 2022.

Our Compressed Gases client is looking for a Direct Hire Customer Quality Manager in Phoenix, AZ. You will work on their client site (Semiconductor company) and you will be responsible for quality of all electronics product lines. You will work closely with the company’s quality team in Taiwan and other affiliates to develop, implement and manage a Quality Roadmap to meet customer-specific requirements. You need to have strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work effectively across internal and end customers teams

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and manage a Customer Quality Roadmap to meet customer-specific requirements
  • Lead customer and supplier quality issue resolution for Supplier Quality Notifications (SQNs) utilizing Root Cause analysis and 8D processes
  • Coordinate and communicate to customers Process Change Notifications (PCNs)
  • Drive understanding of the customer Supplier Quality Review Board requirements throughout the organization and manage gap analysis
  • Develop and drive performance metrics across product lines
  • Manage, supervise and guide cross functional team members
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard approaches to data analysis and statistical control techniques (SPC / SQC)
  • Implement, monitor and report on measurable objectives and milestones for meeting customer certification
  • Coordinate training critical to the successful implementation of the Quality Roadmap
  • Participate in and provide guidance during customer audits
  • Responsible for deployment of Best Practices throughout the company
  • Interface with various levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Meet or exceed all company safety procedures and standards
  • Travel as needed to client sites

 
Requirements

  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar technical discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry with emphasis on engineering and /or business applications
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality system and process management. Demonstrate knowledge in SPC, PCN requirements of semiconductor materials
  • Must be well versed in Quality Assurance fundamentals including ISO 9000, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), data analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Must be able to lead multi-functional teams in process improvement projects
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and be comfortable interacting with various levels of management, both internally and externally
  • Experience in Root Cause analysis and 8D processes
  • Proven experience in project management
  • Operational experience in industrial gas/chemicals and the semiconductor industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analysis, planning and implementation skills
  • Responsive and service-oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work and effectively work in a collaborative team environment
  • Detail oriented and self-motivated
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required (30% expected)
