Monte Rosa Therapeutics is seeking a Contracts Specialist, who thrives in a high-performing and collaborative environment, to join its Legal team and support MRTx’s operations.
The Contracts Specialist will work across functions and teams as a trusted partner to proactively facilitate the efficient negotiation, execution and tracking of contracts.
The ideal candidate will bring a focus on collaboration, professionalism, confidentiality, superior organizational and prioritization skills, and a high level of attention to detail.
The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for the implementation and ‘ownership’ of a contracts management system.
This individual will report to the Head, Legal Operations.
Functions And Duties
Provide comprehensive contract lifecycle management Independently draft, review, negotiate and provide oversight in the execution of a variety of agreements, including confidentiality, material transfer, services, consulting, clinical trial, purchase and other business agreements in accordance with Monte Rosa Tx’s legal standards Assist in implementing and managing a contract database, including preparing reports and correspondence, organizing and updating files, and performing other administrative tasks pertaining to contract management Coordinate and liaise with multiple internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and counterparties to ensure timely preparation, review, negotiation, execution, tracking, and management of contracts Serve as a point of contact for contract-related questions from internal and external stakeholders Support internal stakeholders with vendor management and negotiations Schedule and lead meetings and contract negotiations with internal and external stakeholders Maintain and continuously improve contract templates and processes Bachelor’s degree and demonstrated experience working with legal documents or legal language Strong project management skills Demonstrated business acumen and sound judgment Commitment to integrity and ethical conduct and ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion and sound judgment Ability to adapt and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment Self-directed and proactive with an ability to work both independently and within a team environment across various functional groups and levels within the organization Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, excellent analytical and organizational abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is preferred, as well as some exposure to clinical research
Requirements
