If you are a SUPPLY CHAINprofessional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in MOUNT PLEASANT, WISCONSIN the Commodity Manager will drive global strategic sourcing initiatives resulting in a responsive supply chain that supports the Business Unit’s operational goals for customer satisfaction and operational excellence through Perfect Execution and financial performance.
The Commodity Manager will report directly to the Director of Strategic Sourcing and maintain a close working relationship with Emerson Corporate and Business Group Supply Chain personnel for respective categories.
The Commodity Manager will identify and implement total best cost projects that drive improvements to InSinkErator’s bottom line and trade working capital.AS A COMMODITY MANAGER, YOU WILL: Implement Total Best Cost projects that improve bottom-line profitability and trade working capital Develop, lead, and execute supply chain optimization strategies that align with business goals.
Establish and drive strategic priorities through key performance indicators (KPI’s) and root cause countermeasures (RCCM) Lead supplier improvement initiatives Quality, capacity, lead time, delivery, and cost Implement lean principles throughout the supply base Perform contract reviews to ensure compliance with Emerson requirements Participate in new product development teams Participate in Emerson multi-divisional commodity teams Ensure accuracy of financial reporting WHO YOU ARE:You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations.
