Commercial HVAC Superintendent

Rogers Mechanical Contractors, Llc

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted December 18, 2021.

Rogers Mechanical is accepting resume’s for an experienced Commercial HVAC Superintendent.

This is a travel position, overseeing multiple projects potentially various states.

Must have a minimum OSHA 10 certification, with OSHA 30 preferred.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage project safety

Manage project schedule

Manage customer relations

Manage field labor

Manage subcontractors

Achieve safe, on-time and under budget completion of Commercial HVAC projects.

Job Responsibilities

Review submittals for accuracy and compliancy

Identify potential change orders and report back to project management

Conduct weekly safety meetings

Complete and turn in all job site safety documentation on time and organized

Interpret drawings for craft and/or subcontractor installation

Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site activities

Manage material take-offs, material deliveries, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity and efficiency (Sub Contractors on big jobs may do their own).

Coordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progress

Ensure all on-site employees and subcontractors comply with OSHA standards & Rogers Mechanical Contractor rules & regulations

Schedule equipment deliveries with GC and periodic inspections by governing authorities.

Administer on-site aspects of construction contract

Will be available to “put tool belt on” and assist when needed.

Requirements
Minimum 4 years verifiable experience as an HVAC Superintendent
Proficient with plans, drawings, and submittals
Proficient with scheduling and interaction with the GC for schedule development
Well versed in commercial construction safety requirements
Ability to travel to various job sites/states when required

OSHA 10-hour certification (minimum)
