Move Manager/Captain Job Description We are seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our company as a Move Manager/Captain.
We have earned a reputation as the hardest working and fastest movers in the business.
As part of our team, you train and direct our move team to: disassemble and pack furniture, appliances, and other large items, box small items, stow cargo safely in box trucks, and transport items to their destination.

Move Manager/Captain Duties and Responsibilities Organize the flow of new moves and prospective moves Schedule the move teams to each client Ability to meeet with prospective customers and give a fair estimate Follow up with any customer service concerns Computer proficient Have the ability to be part of any move team in need of guidance for training purposes Disassemble and reassemble furniture and appliances Load and unload large items to and from box trucks Efficiently pack smaller items into boxes, taking care to protect fragile goods Drive trucks to and from delivery locations Unpack items and arrange new spaces for use according to customer specifications Move Manager Requirements and Qualifications A high school diploma or GED certificate preferred Previous move experience in a supervisory or management role The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects throughout a normal workday A positive, collaborative attitude Bilingualism a plus Moving experience (2-3 years minimum) Driving a box truck up to 26 ft Hourly 18.00 plus 7am to 4:00 PM Week days Weekends (rotation) Must know how to protect furniture, kitchen inventory and other breakables Knowledge of loading trucks and securing its contents
