Risk Management Consultant City County Insurance Services Tigard OR JVRisk Management Consultant City County Insurance ServicesJOBGENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:Trusted advisor to CIS members on all aspects of risk management, as appropriate to each member’s exposures and coverage with CIS, with the goal of helping the member reduce losses.
Inspires members to develop and maintain a culture of risk management by consulting on risk management principles and best practices, along with advising members ab out CIS coverages, products, and tools.
Provides account management services in a manner that creates confidence in CIS, connecting members with appropriate CIS staff, programs, and services.
Collaborates and exchanges information with other members of the risk management team and with CIS legal, underwriting, claims and benefits staff.
Partners with members’ local agents in service delivery.
Performs special one-time or ongoing risk management projects as assigned.
