Position Description: The US non-manufacturing team supports sites to ensure major issues (network) and new tool implementation are addressed to protect Business Operations.
We partner with all IT Service providers to continually improve our services.
We support about 180 buildings across the US with most of them centralized in SEMI.
No travel is required outside of SEMI, however, as an IT Site Manager you are required to be on-site 4-5 days a week.
Responsibilities: Assist with coordinating new technology, processes, infrastructure changes, products, and services to protect on-going business operations such as, PC Renewal, Managed Print Service, Hardware Maintenance Program, Global Client, OS Changes, Network, File and Print Server, IT Fit Initiatives, etc.
Coordination of infrastructure for new, existing and decommissioned/closing US non-manufacturing buildings.
Assist with the planning and coordination of infrastructure readiness in support of moves of groups of employees between or within buildings.
Assist with the planning and support for special events (e.G., UAW negotiations, Executive Conferences).
Manage site MDF/IDF Closet Maintenance and audits for assigned buildings.
Lead the escalation of major site and/or multiple user issues/tickets (e.G., Wi-Fi issues for areas of the site like conference rooms).
Manage IT Device Disposal Process for assigned buildings.
Provide ad-hoc customer education and enforce compliance with ITSP and GRCs.
Assist CIRT in contacting customers and mitigating security risks such as compromised devices.
Backup for Parts Warehouses: Lead bridge calls for issues in Parts Warehouses between business and IT until resolution.
Additionally, visiting the local parts warehouse as needed and helping to provide ongoing IT support for all IT infrastructures.
Skills Required: Excellent written and verbal communications.
Aptitude to pick up new technologies, like SharePoint forms programming, O365 overall, new iOS upgrades.
Experience Preferred: General Project Management Skills, like timely response and prioritization of tasks.
Ability to analyze data, large data sets that may come from other service providers that need our assistance.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Customer focused with excellent communication skills.
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
Proficient in Digital Tools and platforms in the environment, like EIDM (security tool), SharePoint, WebEx Conferencing, WebEx Teams, Shared Drives, other.
Plant or production experience.
Working knowledge of BMC Remedy, Request Center, Windows 7, Windows 10, SCCM, Symantec, TCP/IP, hardware platforms, Encryption, and Remote Connectivity Working.
Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networking.
Working knowledge of Printer Connectivity.
Working Knowledge of Active Directory.
IT Certifications in Project Management.
Digital Worker.
Knowledge of Reverse VPN equipment.
Knowledge of latest conference room technology.
Basic programming skills, like Power Apps in O365.
Camtasia Video recording.
Education Required: B.S.
Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field.
