The CDS Global Lettershop is a dynamic fast-paced work organization where we print, insert, sort, and mail over 300 million pieces of mail annually. CDS Global is looking for an adaptable business minded, and results orientated leader who will effectively oversee the lettershop operations, grow the business, shape the work environment, set strategy, allocate resources, and develop future leaders. The nimble leader will be responsible for setting the long-term strategic vision for this organization and managing the day-to-day operations while providing leadership to a large group of dedicated employees spanning across two sites and multiple functions.If you thrive in a dynamic environment, love taking on new challenges, and can inspire teams to excel, then this could be a great opportunity for you. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Sets the long-term vision and strategy for the organization. Executes the vision and strategy while also managing the day-to-day challenges of a dynamic, fast-paced delivery organization. Commits to continuous improvements across the organization to deliver better, faster, and more cost-effective service. Displays analytical prowess and the ability to grasp key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as qualitative trends to be able to drive meaningful improvements. Identifies problems and opportunities early on and responds proactively and aggressively. Works closely with sales and teams to identify new opportunities and find creative ways to drive revenue growth for the organization. Develops annual budget and Profit and Loss (P& L), prepares monthly financial forecasts, and justifies capital requests to ensure division is financially stable. Possesses strong understanding of teams’ capabilities, prioritizes high-value impactful projects, and pushes for functional excellence across business areas. Exemplifies professional excellence, sets high yet attainable standards for the team, and creates a strong culture of excellence within the organization. Conducts in-depth analysis into problem areas to identify, triage, and create long-term fixes for those problems. Understands resource scarcity and can invest both our monetary and human capital wisely – putting our teams in the best possible position to succeed on a day-to-day basis. Identifies and develops a strong team of star performers who can lead this organization in the future. Influences and collaborates effectively within, across, and outside the organization to drive results for the overall organization. Communicates effectively (verbal and written) up, down, and across the organization. Maintains confidentiality of CDS Global and its clients’ proprietary information.EDUCATION AND/OR CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND LICENSING Four-year degree or equivalent strongly preferred. Ten or more years of experience in lettershop and/or fulfillment-related industry preferred. Five or more years of successful experience managing large teams required. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Experience extracting data from information systems or data processing systems. Thorough knowledge of annual work planning and budgeting. Demonstrated ability to advise and consult leaders on complex matters requiring application of legal, financial, technical and management principles. Experience applying creative thinking skills to generate options, visualize possibilities and formulate new approaches. Ability to develop and execute on division strategic vision. Business-minded results orientated leader who can identify new opportunities and find creative ways to drive revenue growth for the organization.
