Morning & Evening Supervisor Positions

Getaway builds tiny cabins, places them in the middle of nature, and rents them out by the night to people looking to disconnect and recharge. The AM & PM Supervisor works closely with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager to support the success of the team and the happiness of our guests. The Morning Supervisor should be passionate about the happiness of our guests, highly organized in preparing for the day’s shift, and detail oriented when it comes to cleaning. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MOUNT VERNON, WA

OVERVIEW:

    -Full time (35-40 hours) daytime schedule (8am – 4pm) or (2pm-10pm); weekend and holiday availability required
    -Paid vacation (10 days) and sick time
    -Paid extra (1) day off, once a month, to be used as a 3-day weekend
    -Free staff stays in our tiny cabins
    -Reliability is critical
    -Previous supervisor and housekeeping experience is strongly preferred
    -Position is located in Mount Vernon, WA near Lake McMurray

RESPONSIBILITIES:

AM Responsibilities:

    -Prepare for the shift by packing cleaning kits, prepping welcome materials, and packing linen bags.
    -Ensure every team member has all materials and tools they need for their day.
    -Monitor the Outpost for any potential issues that could disrupt guest interactions and experience.
    -Monitor the guest ticket system to ensure tickets are answered in a timely manner.
    -Perform inspections on cleaned cabins to ensure the high standards of cleanliness are being met; provide feedback to the housekeepers.
    -Assist in the deep cleaning process when necessary. This includes disinfecting high touch surfaces, making beds, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen areas, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
    -Assist with end of shift duties such as unloading supplies for the housekeepers, cleaning and organizing back of house area, and unloading and sorting dirty linen.
    -Special monthly projects may include: Assist with operating supply inventory management, deep cleaning back of house area and Outpost vehicles, training new housekeeping staff, and other tasks as assigned.
    -Initially, during October-December, this position will also be responsible for Laundering and folding all linen; major focus on spot treating stains and extending the life of the linen at an off-site location.

PM Responsibilities:

    -Monitor the Outpost for any potential issues that could disrupt guest interactions and experience.
    -Act as the onsite point of contact for all guest needs; following up with guest requests in a timely and professional manner. This may include light maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of the company’s emergency procedures will be required.
    -Launder and fold all linen; major focus on spot treating stains and extending the life of the linen.
    -Prepare for the following day’s shift by packing linen bags, preparing welcome materials, preparing cleaning kits, and emptying and cleaning vacuums.
    -Assist in the cabin deep cleaning process when necessary. This includes disinfecting high touch surfaces, making beds, cleaning the bathroom and kitchen areas, vacuuming, mopping, etc.
    -Special monthly projects may include: Assist with operating supply inventory management, deep cleaning the back of house, Outpost vehicles and washers, and other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

    -Personal vehicle + valid driver’s license.
    -Supervisor and Hotel housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
    -Background check required.
