The Senior role is an integral part of the team, focused on developing targeted strategies and initiatives to elevating the awareness of the Future of Trust across all areas within the firm to achieve market objectives.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to help fill the pipeline, and develop relationships with account teams across all businesses, offerings and industries within the firm to drive targeted engagement.
The Sr.
Consultant reports to the Principal leading the team, with frequent interaction with other Future of Trust leaders, lead client service partners, account teams and offering leaders across the firm.
This work may be performed remotely from your home office.
Role specific responsibilities may include:
- Drive outreach with client account teams on the topic of Trust
- Lead client pursuits, including identifying accounts teams to engage with, tracking progress and relevant activities by account teams, and coordinating follow up actions leading to client engagements
- Support account teams by leading meetings, providing research, developing action plans and driving accountability, keeping up with relevant market/industry/company intel, etc.
- Work with key internal stakeholder groups to develop cross-functional relationships to help identify potential opportunities to team with other parts of the Deloitte network
- Create client-facing materials, including relevant content for workshops and/or labs
- Leverage our Salesforce-based CRM system to track progress of account team efforts, provide real-time analytics to leaders, and report on results.
- Provide ongoing support to the Future of Trust team to respond to new opportunities and help coordinate strategic discussions with senior leaders
- Be responsive to requests of senior Leaders across businesses, geographies, and industries
Qualifications
Required:
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
- A fundamental understanding of how our businesses works and an ability to confidently engage in conversation within the firm and our account teams across offerings and businesses linking our solutions and services to business challenges
- Unparalleled relationship development and persuasive skills—at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently present our messaging, influence stakeholders and drive actionable results
- Superior PowerPoint and Excel skills required
- Strategic and critical thinking skills
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to drive high-visibility actions and client-ready deliverables to completion
- Strong initiative and entrepreneurial approach with a desire and ability to contribute strategically as the offering grows and expands
- High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment with the ability to work well under pressure, and shifting priorities
- Ability to be self-directed and responsive
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with varying degrees of complexity with the agility to shift quickly without compromising on quality
- Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
- Collegial team player who can work with a small team within a virtual, matrixed environment
- Diplomacy, poise, maturity and empathy are all key attributes for success
- Travel up to 20% (While 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, pursuits, preferably in a large, matrixed organization
