Our powerhouse team is actively seeking a Business Development Director to join our rapidly growing agency.

The Business Development Director is responsible for quickly identifying and procuring new business opportunities for our Entertainment division.

This person is passionate about building upon a strong foundation and cultivating compelling work for them and the organization around them.

This role is collaborative, operational, and has a strategic focus on planning and execution of business development opportunities that will drive agency growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and increase production & post-production revenue via strategic partnerships that are fostered and maintained Manage the day-to-day relationships with current clients to drive continued partnership & creation of new work Support implementation of pitch ideas from ideation to execution Create business development briefs outlining opportunities, details on the client, and identifying the appropriate levels of effort in order to align internal teams Lead proposal briefing process for key stakeholders and team members Assist in developing a budget and price estimate using standard models Assist other business development associates in developing project plans, defining roles and responsibilities and the scope of work for each project with input from department leads, project leaders and functional groups Assist with drafting the narrative that ties the project components together and package and assist in presenting the proposal to clients Communicate back to internal groups the outcome of the negotiations/proposals focusing on conveying the expectations set forth for each group, i.e.

clear details, critical timeframes and expectations Industry/ internet research on key areas to identify potential new opportunities and contacts REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: 10 years of experience developing new business, networking, and sustaining long term relationships with local, regional and national businesses in the Entertainment or Broadcast Media industry Experience building strategic frameworks for evaluating new business opportunities Competitive industry knowledge Strong attention to detail with commitment to creative quality while meeting deadlines Experience negotiating with a wide range of personalities in a fast-paced environment Ability to partner with all agency departments and build trusting relationships Respectful, passionate & open-minded Curious & knowledge-seeking
