Building Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
Supervise and train employees to meet maintenance standards, goals and efficiencies. The Maintenance supervisor is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and management of maintenance programs and related activities to ensure site based machinery and equipment is operating with the highest degree of reliability and cost efficiency. In addition, this position requires the supervisor to direct, lead and develop maintenance technicians at all levels.
Responsibilities
- Assign work, analyze productivity, workflow, methods and procedures, making recommendations regarding maintenance functions to management as appropriate.
- Coordinate day to day administration of maintenance tasks, work orders, scheduling and procedures.
- Confer with other Supervisors/Managers to coordinate activities of maintenance requirements.
- Examine work orders and PM’s. Estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
- Recommend measures to improve efficiency and troubleshooting of equipment.
- Manage time and attendance, performance and personnel issues for all maintenance workers and administer discipline, corrective action and coaching as needed.
- Ensure PM schedules are created and adhered to in order to support plant production goals.
- Enforce all company policies and plant rules, to include but not limited to problem solving, development and implementation of procedures.
- Responsible for miscellaneous projects as required.

Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have at least 5 or more years of previous Supervisory experience in Maintenance.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of management and subordinates using both verbal and written formats.
- Must have excellent communication and facilitation skill.
- Must be able to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Should be self-directed and self-motivated.
- Must be able to establish project and priorities.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
