WHAT YOU’LL DOWorking under the direction of the North America Head of Marketing, this person will help shape, implement, and drive priority integrated marketing projects to improve the position of BCG’s brand in our region.
We are looking for a candidate with strong inter-personal and problem-solving skills, ability to use insights to drive to impact, and interest in driving strategic projects forward.YOU’RE GOOD ATIdentify priority initiatives, help shape strategy and work plans to ensure initiatives remain on track with guidance from managerLead planning development and drive execution of strategic projectsWork collaboratively with global, regional, practice area, and local marketing team members to gather necessary data and inputs to complete analysis and develop sound plansThoughtfully consolidate and analyze data, gleaning key actionable insights, integrating relevant best-in-class marketing knowledge and learning from other projects/data sourcesPrepare clear, compelling presentation materials for various internal marketing and firm leadership communications and meetingsSupport creation of agendas and presentation materials for Marketing Committee calls and in-person meetingsPerforming other duties as assigned or required Some example projects could include the following (though we anticipate specific needs to evolve over time):Identify and assess external agency, partnership and sponsorship opportunitiesDevelop, pilot, and implement initiatives, to advance our marketing strategyHelp design and implement market research to better understand our brand positioning in NAYOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)Bachelor degree with demonstrated high academic achievement; MBA preferred3-5 years experience in consulting, marketing, or other strategic roles.
BCG-specific experience a plus7-10 years of overall work experienceStrong analytical and creative problem solving skills ability to use and reason with quantitative data and qualitative inputs to structure compelling narratives for actionVery high level of proficiency in Office tools – particularly Powerpoint & Excel, Trello project management software proficiencyAbility to build trust and work collaboratively with all key stakeholders in a highly matrixed environmentStrong organizational skills and high level of initiative, self-motivation, teaming, and resourcefulness; “Gets things done” approach with a positive attitudeComfortable in both understanding the big pitcture and working in detailStrong attention to detail ability to provide quick turnaround and updates for multiple requests, while maintaining strong reputation of high quality workAbility to perform effectively under pressure; consistent management of changing situations with tact, poise, and patienceComfort with ambiguity and willingness to embrace an iterative processVersatility and openness towards new ideas and changeYOU’LL WORK WITHBCG’s marketing team drives the firm’s reputation as a thought leader.
