NextGen Ways of Working (NGWOW) ) is a global BCG priority initiative to make BCG the first choice for clients and talent.
NGWOWs objective is to create maximum impact for our clients while integrating our growing range of capabilities within multidisciplinary teams building a sustainable environment for all our staff, accelerating the adoption of Agile mindsets and ways of working and leveraging digital tools to maximize team efficiency and transparency, and ultimately, creating impact in our client organizations.
This role is a dynamic one, and the duties of this role will evolve over time.
As the NextGen WOW lead, you will be responsible for supporting further development, validation and roll-out of the NextGen approach, including across our digital businesses.
Included in this will be helping develop and implement our approaches to Multi-Disciplinary teaming, Agile teams, Hybrid ways of working, and next-gen travel approaches for our digital and other teams.
You will do this through testing crucial elements of NextGen approach in different settings (e.G.
types of cases, geographies, team compositions).
You will work closely across our DigitalBCG businesses, cross-functional teams,our PEOPLE teams, and leadership to drive engagement and integration of NGWOW into our digital businesses, teams and cases.
You will help drive our outreach, upskilling, and communications programs and ensure learnings are captured by the team members driving elements across this critical roll-out (e.G.
L& D, communication, tool development).
YOU’RE GOOD AT Problem solving, analytical skills and decision making * Consultative skill set, including a track record of providing unique and innovative insights across multiple areas * Curiosity and persistence in identifying issues * Ability to grasp complex issues and look beyond the obvious * Demonstrates both strong analytical and big picture capabilities in problem solving approaches * Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to embrace an iterative process Work management and planning * Ability to focus on the most critical issues that have the highest impact * Excitement about building structure and analytics around new ways of working * Self motivate, ability to work independently and to take initiative * Able to translate large, complex issues/objectives into effective work plans * Proven success in working effectively with significant ambiguity and fluctuating priorities and constraints Communication, interpersonal and teaming skills * Collaborative team player, who spends time developing relationships and managing across teams and regions * Proven ability to work successfully within a cohesive and matrixed team environment * Superior interpersonal and communication skills with key stakeholders * Ability to build relationships and foster an environment of trust at all levels of the organization, while still maintaining a high degree of independence YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) * Bachelors degree required, advanced degree (MA, MBA, PhD, JD, etc.) preferred * 8-10+ years relevant industry experience or BCG consulting team experience * Management consulting or professional services experience is preferred, as is global experience * Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word * Demonstrated leadership / organizational / communication skills * Fluency in English, other languages a plus ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Candidates should be aware that BCG currently maintains a policy requiring all US & Canada based employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
