Audit Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce’s client, a leading regional CPA firm is seeking an Audit Supervisor/Manager for their Not For Profit practice in White Plains, New York (NY). The candidate selected will have room for continued advancement and promotion throughout their career. Duties Include:

• Oversee efforts of multiple client engagements in the nonprofit industry
• Consult, work with, and service client base to make recommendations on business and process improvement; Identify and communicate suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures
• Manage, develop, train staff on projects and assess performance for engagement and year-end reviews; Actively participate in recruiting talent for the Firm
• Attend professional development, networking events and training seminars

Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting
• CPA completed or in progress
• 6+ years of prior experience in public accounting with extensive experience with non-profits with specific experience in the social service industry
• Experience in performing audits in accordance with the single audit guidance, third party cost reports and New York City funded programs
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
• Ability to interact with potential clients and generate new business
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
• Ability to research complex accounting and auditing issues
• Excellent communication and computer skills
