The Innovation Team at the American Red Cross is looking for an Associate Technical Product Manager (ATPM) who will help with our portfolio of automation and emerging technology products. Our ideal candidate has a scrappy, start-up mindset and should have at least 2 years of previous work experience that includes defining technical product requirements, coding, troubleshooting bugs, and building and owning analytical dashboards.
The Innovation Team operates like an internal start-up, focused on building disruptive digital solutions to drive the humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross forward. We are looking for a problem solver who can help revolutionize the way we are delivering our mission using technology and data. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to make a difference and help people in need. Some of the solutions are the first of its kind in the industry.
This role will be instrumental in helping us to train and maintain our emerging technology products (e.g. chatbots, voice skills, VR/AR), build low to no code solutions for rapid prototypes and POCs, define technical product requirements for early stage concepts, & create and own BI tools (e.g. PowerBI, Excel). The ideal candidate learns lightning fast, is comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and has a sound technical and analytical understanding of how to solve problems.
We are focused on getting positive mission outcomes at the fastest pace possible; a successful candidate will have an agile mindset and can drive projects forward. The individual in this role must be able to function effectively with a high degree of independence and minimal direct supervision.
