This role will focus on middle grade books.RESPONSIBILITIES+ Brainstorm, write, and execute marketing plans for middle grade titles and series+ Oversee the creation of promotional materials, advertisements, videos, social media, websites, and all marketing assets related to assigned titles+ Maintain awareness of the book market and suggest new and innovative ways to market titles to kids, parents, and booksellers+ Write copy for creative jobs including advertisements, social media, and website content+ Strategize and follow-up on online presence for key titles, including websites and social media campaigns+ Communicate marketing updates to sales, editorial, cross-channel partners, agents, and authors as needed+ Manage campaigns for bestsellers including Wings of Fire, Alan Gratz, Kelly Yang, Jennifer Nielsen, Pam Muñoz Ryan, Whatever After, and Upside Down MagicWHO WE AREScholastic Corporation (NASDAQ: SCHL) is the worlds largest publisher and distributor of childrens books, a leading provider of core literacy curriculum and professional services, and a producer of educational and entertaining childrens media.
