Associate Director of Women’s Small Groups Part Time Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL, US 10 days ago Requisition ID: 1002 Primary Responsibilities Provide vision, direction, and shepherding for the women’s small group ministry (29 groups) Build and maintain a structure of small group coaches Recruit, identify, train and develop women’s small group coaches Shepherd coaches in their own walks and in shepherding of their leaders through one on one meetings and coaching huddles Recruit, identify, train and develop women’s small group leaders Work with coaches, elders to address appropriate levels of care and discipline within groups as needed Meet with leaders as needs arise Serve as a small group coach for multiple women’s groups Cast vision for multiplication and encourage each coach/group to move toward multiplication plan Plan and execute Small Group Leader Training (3-4x a year) for all new or prospective leaders (all groups -not just women’s) Conduct interviews with all women’s small group leader applicants Identify and develop teachers for the training Work with location pastor to plan and execute Leader Invests (quarterly meetings to equip LP small group leaders) Plan and execute Small Group Connect (2-3x a year), as well as other avenues to assimilate unconnected individuals into small groups Place all women who request to join small groups into groups Direct requests for other types of groups to appropriate team member Maintain current information for all women small groups on master SG list This role is currently slated for 28 hours a week with an additional 12 hours a week to be picked up from August 1st for 12 weeks to help cover some of the responsibilities while a team member is on maternity leave.

We plan to reassess our location’s needs at the end of that leave to determine if the role can continue in a full-time capacity.

Additional Key Responsibilities Collaborate with Near North Women’s Ministry to provide opportunities to LP women to be equipped and discipled Primarily recruit leaders for Winter Women’s Study and summer study Create opportunities for LP Women’s events Breaking Bread dinners, LP women’s lunches Meet with LP women on one-off basis as needed
