The CAR-T Forecaster will provide strategic forecast support and guidance to key business leaders to maximize financial performance. This includes ongoing product, disease and market analysis to inform indication-level product forecasts. Primary activities include collaborating with internal stakeholders across the US & Global Hematology organizations to support quarterly submissions of US revenue projections, as well as Latest Estimate (LE) and Long Range Plan (LRP) updates for Senior Management. The incumbent is expected to be an active business partner in support of critical business decisions. Other responsibilities will include consolidation & reporting of key deliverables, understanding & measuring key drivers of the business, as well as ad-hoc assignments. This person will oversee contractor support focused specifically on Myeloid asset forecasting. Key Responsibilities and Major Duties: Meets all US & Global business forecast requirements on a timely and accurate basis. Supports US Marketing Teams by providing regular updates of in-line forecasts and sales performance. Provides proactive communication to all stakeholders of any significant event or activity that could have a financial impact Provides sales reporting analytics to maximize product and portfolio performance. Collaborates with Global to provide relevant reporting for the Investor Relations and Board of Director meetings Participates on cross-functional teams whose members consist of BIA leadership, Market Research, Competitive Intelligence, Commercial Performance Team, Marketing & Sales, Value Access & Pricing, Finance and Manufacturing. Core deliverables include volume and net sales projections during Revenue Updates for current month and quarter, Budget submissions, 3YOP and 5-year Long-Range Plans. Responsible for identifying process improvements to increase efficiencies. Drives innovation to find new forecasting approaches & techniques, as well as reporting enhancements. List of minimum requirements: BS/BA required; MBA-Finance preferred 5 years of biotech/pharma industry experience with relevant experience in Business Analysis, Forecasting and Financial Analysis. Hematology / Oncology markets experience a plus. Experience: In-depth strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills. Excellent communications skills: written, oral and presentation skills Excellent interpersonal skills. Team player, who builds relationships and works easily with a variety of functions. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Results-oriented. Excellent follow-through habits. Competencies – knowledge, skills, abilities, other: Works well cross-functionally to help set expectations and build alignment on forecasts and forecasts deliverables, and to help ensure the consistent understanding of the financials once reported. Proactively identifies knowledge gaps and identifies a path forward in filling those gaps. Works closely with the cross functional US teams and other key stakeholders in the development and reporting of core deliverables. Delivers accurate, insightful, and well supported financial analytics to BIA Team and US Hematology Franchise within established timelines. Understands and thrives working across multiple complex markets. Generates insights from multiple data sources that may often be perceived as ambiguous. Partners with marketing teams, competitive intelligence, outside agencies and other critical cross functional teams to help support the US Hematology Franchise. Software that must be used independently and without assistance (e.g., Microsoft Suite) High proficiency in personal computer technology and various software packages including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other programs as needed.
