Job Summary:
The Associate Brand Manager will participate in designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to build Westminster Pet Products’ brands and increase customer engagement. Under the general supervision of the Vice President of Marketing, Innovation and e-Commerce, they will collaborate with various internal teams to conduct market and competitive analyses, design promotional campaigns and develop profitable positioning and pricing for our brands.
Ultimately, they will help establish our brands in the market in a way that customers easily identify and select our companys products and services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct research to identify market trends and target customers preferences
Create marketing plans to increase brand awareness
Ensure strong brand presence in online and offline channels
Develop and continuously produce content for all channels of marketing, including social media, on-line, print and others
Review packaging and positioning of products and suggest improvements
Research competition and identify opportunities for growth
Design advertising campaigns for new products/services
Report to the Vice President of Marketing on the results of advertising campaigns
Coordinate with the other members of the marketing and sales teams to ensure consistency with the product line strategy
Assist in developing effective media campaigns and choosing appropriate distribution channels
Update the pricing of products to align with the companys long-term objectives
Participate in organizing promotional events to positively present our company
Required Skills & Abilities:

Experience with product pricing, packaging and positioning
Comfortable with all activities related to the brand and possess extensive knowledge in basic business operations
Familiarity with distribution channels and media marketing campaigns
Knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques
Ability to conduct market analysis (and the know-how to use and interpret spreadsheets and charts)
Demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills
They should possess strategic thinking, analytical, problem solving and communication skills
Ability to think creatively and be results oriented
They must be persuasive in selling ideas and be assertive in developing the brand
Education & Experience:
One to three years of previous work experience as an Associate Brand Manager, Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing Associate or similar role
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration or related field
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ideal Profile:
A passion for pets; must be comfortable with dogs and cats
Consumer products and Petcare category experience a plus
Strong digital marketing acumen, especially across social platforms
