Assistant Project Manager

The Associate Product Manager will join our Product Development organization as an advocate for our clients and users, becoming an expert in their needs and workflows.

As a member of an empowered cross-functional product team, this role will collaborate with product owners, product designers, and engineers throughout the entire agile development process, from discovery to delivery.

This individual will interface with customers and client services teams to triage product enhancement requests, refine business requirements, and support the release of new capabilities.

Responsibilities
Build knowledge of virtual events and video streaming, OpenExchange strategy, product, customers, and data.

Analyze and document existing product capabilities and workflows as part of planning new feature development.

Refine user stories and acceptance criteria for features and requirements in the product backlog.

Support the rollout and release cycle of new features to internal and external users.

Triage enhancement requests and bug reports submitted by customers, end-users, and stakeholders.

Team up with engineers to solve customer problems with powerful yet efficient implementations.

Participate in sprint planning meetings, daily scrums, demo days, and team retrospectives.

Research and assess the capabilities of competitors in the marketplace.

Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in product management or related roles (business analyst, client service, software development, etc.), preferably supporting the delivery of B2B SaaS products.

Highly motivated self-starter with a strong desire to learn new skills and a passion to solve customer problems.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Excellent listening, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.

Exposure to key technical concepts such as APIs, data models, cloud architecture, etc.

Experience working with financial services, streaming video, or video conferencing companies is not a requirement, but would be a plus
