nnOur client is seeking to fill a Assistant Director of Nursing position in their Queens outpatient facility.
nn nn n nn nn Qualifications: nn Registered Nurse in the State of New York Minimum 3 years experience as an Operating Room RN nn n nn nn Responsibilities: nn Participates in the selection of new staff members.
Ensures that all new staff is properly oriented to the Center and to their respective positions.
Schedules staff so as to meet patient care needs in an effective and efficient manner Supervises staff in the performance of their job responsibilities including counseling of employees when appropriate and taking disciplinary action when necessary.
Ensures that staff receive appropriate in-service training.
Ensures staff adherence to Center policies and procedures.
Is an effective member of the Quality Assurance Committee.
Follows proper safety and infection control practices in the performance of all duties.
