Overview:Quinnipiac University invites applications for Assistant Director of Annual Giving in the Development of Alumni Affairs. We seek a creative, independent fundraising professional to manage community fundraising and pipeline development efforts and support the Director of Annual Giving (to whom this position reports) in all Annual Giving initiatives. This position will be beneficial towards meeting Annual Giving short- and long-term alumni participation and dollar goals. Responsibilities: Work with the Director of Annual giving to manage the content and messaging of annual appeals, acknowledgements, and other written communications. Help to craft electronic and print communications that inspire and interest Quinnipiac University alumni, parents and friendsAssist in efficiently managing details and deadlines of the annual giving program, including the direct mail componentWork with the Director of Annual Giving to design and implement all phases of the electronic marketing strategy related to development and leadership givingHelp in managing special solicitation programs such as the Faculty/Staff campaign when appropriateWork in conjunction with the parent program on their goals and objectivesHelp coordinate the Highly Targeted phone program Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related fieldExperience may substitute for some of the above education qualifications Qualifications: 3 years of related experienceStrong written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal skills are requiredSelf-motivatedAbility to work as a team member within a complex organization requiring collaboration, teamwork and communicationExperience with I-Modules and CampusCall is a plusAbility to understand and work with Annual Giving analyticsDemonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and a commitment to diversity and inclusion
