Assistant Branch Manager – Lewiston

Each branch is staffed with a Manager, Assistant Manager, Financial Services Officers and Member Services Specialists.

As an Assistant Manager your primary function is to effectively assist the Branch Manager to operate a branch, coach staff and maintain business relations.

*This position will be trained in our Moscow Branch but will be permanently placed at our Lewiston branch once it is officially open.+ Ensure smooth operation of the branch in all areas.+ Be an active member of the community by volunteering on service organizations.+ Develop and coach all branch personnel to meet branch goals.+ Innovative marketing of the Credit Union services.

+ Develop and grow branch through business development activities.+ Responsible for the direct supervision of three to twelve team members.+ Ensure accurate balancing of individual MSS team member cash drawers.+ Ability to make sound lending decisions+ Maintain a continuous focus on meeting all NPS goals and Eagle Service standards with branch.+ Maintain acceptable levels of insurance penetration and Game of Work Sales goals.+ Ensure accuracy of daily vault and branch operations.+ Enthusiastic and motivational training on a weekly basis or more often if needed in the areas of member service, positional performance, positional growth and excellence, etc.+ Assign, direct, and coordinate the scheduling needs of the branch team.+ Effective team, onboarding, mentoring, and training of new team members.+ Completion of performance documentation and adequate training to meet the needs of each position.+ Keeping informed of member needs or desires in regard to products and services.+ Take ownership of, support, and bring to resolution all member escalations.+ Upkeep and maintain physical facility.

+ Ensure all team members’ appearance and dress reflects the standards of a financial institution.+ Monitor branch daily duty checklist to ensure all operational tasks are completed promptly and accurately, and that the branch remains in compliance at all times.Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent management experience.

Minimum of one-year branch team member experience.

Mortgage Certification.

Business Account Certification.

Signature Guarantee/Medallion Stamp Certification, Notary Public.

Ability to work with other department supervisors.

Ability to supervise all personnel within the branch.

Ability to effectively work and communicate with Administration.

Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records at all times.Be able to insure the smooth operation of branch and quality service to the membership.

Professional in appearance, attendance, quality, and quantity of work performed.

Knowledge of all Credit Union functions, procedures, and policies.

Prioritize to allow 15 hours per week for coaching.

Be involved in business development and community service activities.

Must be willing to comply with the Bank Secrecy Act and USA Patriot Act as implemented by Idaho Central Credit Union.Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity (processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, collating, typing, counting cash, etc.) Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.

Lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies (copy paper, computer paper, mail, etc).

Repetitive motion using wrists, and fingers.

Reach keyboards.

Ability to operate basic office machines (calculator, computer, telephone, copy machine, fax machine, etc).Must be eligible for membership at Idaho Central Credit Union to obtain employment.
