Job MissionThe Material Planning Manager will lead an Operational Supplier Management Team (OSMT) managing people and their development, develop and implement policies, year plan and practices, and contribute to the development of strategy.
Management will be in line with corporate guidelines, (business) plans and strategy, in order to ensure the realization of (strategic) objectives of the assigned unitThis position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R.
§ 730, et seq.).

Interfaces andbuilds relations with an increased number of suppliers, increased scope and criticality.Coordinates and manages operational annual plan and contributes to the strategy of the assigned area.Explains and convinces internal and external parties beyond content driven arguments and is able to appeal to interest, culture and level of others and knows how and when to influence typical stakeholders department, other department managers, Directors and external stakeholders.Evaluates organizational design for own functional discipline and initiates and implements organizational improvements and evaluates (work) processes across functional disciplines and supports implementation of these improvements.Supervises work of ≥20 direct reports.Manages demand & supply for complex technology and business partners with complex decision making unit and while managing risk, much more impact on working capital or customer impact.Drives improvement programs with customers and suppliers.Prepares capacity, stocking strategy and new product introduction in customer & supplier supply chains.Manages cross sector escalations.Needs to understand Supply Chain Management/Planning Systems on high level to manage material availability risks for factory and customers.Needs to understand and interpret factory and customer demand..Is able to translate factory and customer requirements/expectations into operational execution.Communicates on material availability to internal senior leadership and/or customer.
EducationBachelors degree required.Masters degree a plus.Or equivalent experience.
