A non-profit organization that I work with in Chicago is looking for an Area Manager to join their team. This person will oversee 4 different locations within the city (west loop/north side of Chicago) and will manage 5 employees.
Job Requirements:
The Area Manager is responsible for operational activities and management of properties. Focal points of this position include occupancy, rent collection, completion of work orders, office management, resident services, relations in the property and overall supervision of site based staff. The Area Manager will have oversight of multiple properties. This position is the first point of contact for emergencies, including but not limited to maintenance, resident and staffing issues.
This role includes direct supervision of Property Managers, Assistant PM, Recertification Specialists, in addition to Maintenance and Janitorial oversight.
