Commercial Lines Client Account Manager Select AccountsSalary: $60-75K (Depending on experience, education, and training)Benefits: Comprehensive benefits packageLocation: Plattsburgh, NYPosition DescriptionIndependent agency / retail insurance broker is searching for a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional with a deep understanding of commercial lines coverage and rating principals.

Must have independent agency experience to be considered.

This individual will be supporting production staff in their servicing of commercial clients and prospects.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare marketing submissions for new business and account businessPrepare new business and account renewal proposalsEnter and maintain account data within agency management systemSupport Producer & /or Client Executive in day to day servicing client accounts, including direct contact with clients and insurance underwriters.Prepare and process binders of insurance, policies, and endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, and cancellationsDevelop strong relationships with various company marketing representatives and underwritersDevelop strong relationships & trust with clients, producers, and fellow employeesDevelop and maintain strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverage & ratingQualifications RequiredExperience with small to mid sized commercial clientsStrong team collaboration skillsExcellent verbal and written communication abilitiesSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyAbility to consistently process transactions accuratelyKnowledge of agency management systems (Applied TAM or EPIC, or AMS 360).Competent in use of Word, Excel, and OutlookProperty and Casualty licenseInsurance designations preferred (CISR, CIC, etc)5 plus years of client service experience requiredAll submissions treated confidentially
