APR: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Commercial Lines Account Executive/ Senior Account ManagerSalary: $60-75K (Depending on experience, certifications, and specialized training)Benefits: Comprehensive best in class employee benefits packageLocation: Denver, COLarge independent insurance agency is seeking a strong commercial lines account manager or account executive to manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts.

Strong trucking/transportation experience is desired for this position.

The position will be required to work with producers, clients, and other support staff to provide effective, ethical, and the best client service possible.Responsibilities:Ability to market/quote new business and account renewals to obtain competitive coverage/cost ratios for the clientProvide risk management guidance to clientsResearch and compile answers to client policy and coverage questionsExperience with multiple carrier underwriters and ability to rate on line and/or work with Underwriters to provide appropriate insurance coverage for client accountsIdentify, compile and manage information regarding account renewalsMeet with clients to discuss policy, lines of coverage, recommended changes, loss history, etc.Qualifications7 or more years of insurance industry experience related to servicing commercial accounts3 or more years of insurance experience working with Trucking and Transportation related client accountsWorking knowledge of all lines of coverageProperty and Casualty licenseCIC and/or TRIP designations desiredApplied EPIC experience preferredStrong knowledge of insurance markets and preferred appetites.Risk management experienceKnowledge of Insurance and/or Brokerage businessKnowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Professional verbal and written communication skillsAll inquiries will be kept 100% confidential
