As an App Dev Manager, you will lead your team to design, architect and deliver large-scale global software applications, systems, platforms, services or technologies.
As a key leader in the organization you will have the opportunity to work directly with partner IT and business teams, owning and driving major deliverables across all aspects of software delivery.

Responsibilities
Build a best-in-class engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations.
Work with product management and cross functional teams to provide technical solutions for desired user experiences.
Provide hands on technical leadership to the team, including your own code contributions.
Define detailed technical requirements from high level product descriptions and enable your team to do the same.
Drive and facilitate innovation within the team.
Monitor, drive and facilitate individual growth of your teams’ individual contributors.
Build, manage, and develop world-class engineers including hiring recommendations and guide and mentor engineers.
Ensure high quality design reviews which meet business and architectural goals and drive critical feedback on architecture and design issues.
Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business alignment with team, leadership chain, and with customers.
Drives solution end-to-end, inclusive of partner delivery organizations.
Coordinates design impacts appropriately with enterprise architecture and solution design peer groups.
Qualifications
Deep hands-on technical expertise in cloud based distributed software design and development.
Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability and performance.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Experience with back-end distributed systems.
A passion for people management and mentorship.
Experience with the SCRUM methodology for agile software development.
Prior experience as a software developer or software development manager.
9+ years of software development experience including design patterns, data structures, test driven development utilizing Scala, Python, or full stack JavaScript.
Success in this role is measured by
Delivery stakeholders have early/often participation in solution design, with transparency to solution objectives.
Implementation work shows evidence of reuse for broader needs, and shows balance of anticipating future needs.
Development team members feel they are part of the solution ideation and elaboration on approach.
Healthy backlog of non-functional and technical features is maintained and managed.
This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home.
Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $112,700
– $187,900, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
