We run the engine that drives the development of Siri Products: facilitating planning and execution processes, ensuring overall readiness for each OS release, making sure all product information is accessible to the right people, and continuing to improve these processes over time.We’re looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of building and maintaining complex software platforms, tools and processes that deliver new end-to-end experiences that delight customers. If so, we want to talk to you!Key Qualifications8+ years experience in project or program management, or similar role on a software or QE teamExcellent project management skills including project structuring and managing multiple work streams cross functionallyExceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audienceProven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across a highly-matrixed, cross-functional organizationAbility to propose and adapt process to accommodate different management styles and situationsStrong leadership skills, including coaching, collaborative problem-solving, and conflict resolutionStrong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skillsSolid knowledge of technical system architecture and systems design tradeoffsThorough understanding of development, test, build and release processes for complex softwareDescriptionYou will serve as a program manager, tracking and coordinating all of Siri in the Home’s efforts within an OS release from feature definition through development and release. You will:* Communicate: Provide clear and timely communication, including program status for executives and distilled program guidance for development teams* Plan: Create and communicate program schedules, review feature development plans for feasibility, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams* Execute: Ensure org-wide adherence to schedule constraints, tracking completion of relevant milestones, reporting progress, and driving planning/replanning activities* Problem solve: Coordinate with teams to identify issues, prioritize tasks and track risks to schedule and product quality, including cross-functional dependencies* Educate: Document, host training sessions, and be a resource for development best practicesEducation & ExperienceBS/MS/PhD CS/CE/EE or equivalentAdditional RequirementsPosition can be based in either Seattle, WA, or Cupertino, CA
