The Consumer Lending team partners with other businesses across Wells Fargo to create and deliver transformational experiences that help customers gain access to credit. The vision for the Consumer Lending business is to leverage technology and data to make it simple for customers to easily access credit when and where they need it. Consumer Lending serves customers across the country through our distribution network of more than 5,300 retail banking branches and Home Lending offices, as well as online and digital channels.
The Cards and Merchant Services (CMS) MIS Operations Analytic Consultant 5 is responsible for supporting the production activities for the financial and analytical reporting systems. This position will be responsible for supporting the development of the strategic direction for all new financial systems production activities. The candidate must have Hyperion Essbase experience along with strong project management and problem solving skills. The role will support strategic reporting initiatives impacting the CRMS business. Projects will include MIS infrastructure enhancements, reporting initiatives, and business integrations. The candidate must possess excellent relationship management skills and have the ability to work across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Support the development and execution of all aspects of analytic reporting systems, production activities including design, testing, and user training
• Provide guidance on the development of the financial reporting systems including actual reporting and forecasting functionality
• Administer the MIS infrastructure on a daily and monthly basis to support financial reporting
• Responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining Hyperion Essbase applications to support business level reporting
• Provide technical Essbase expertise during requirements gathering and analysis sessions
• Work collaboratively with senior accounting and IT staff to develop reporting solutions
• Demonstrate practical business knowledge and technical expertise in supporting finance and analytic users across the CRMS business
• Develop process improvement strategies aimed at improving the overall efficiency of the financial reporting and analytics environment
• Lead new projects and ongoing maintenance of the CRMS MIS infrastructure
• Prioritize development activities to maximize the value delivered by the team
• Lead a diverse team consisting of financial, technical, and management staff
• Role requires close partnership with senior level IT, risk, and finance staff

• 8+ years of financial systems development and project management experience
• Credit Card industry experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or Financial Systems discipline
• Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with track record of driving results through cross-functional organization
• Proven experience partnering with a group of employees with IT, finance, and project management backgrounds
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities under pressure
• Highly motivated, self-directed
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
