OverviewThis position will work closely with the BI Manager, business stakeholders, development teams and vendors in the planning and execution of major IT projects and initiatives.
This individual will manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope, as well as act as the liaison between the business users and development teams.This individual will ensure development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
He/She will ensure development teams are working efficiently towards Sprint goals.Responsibilities Oversee IT projects that span multiple teams, whether they’re located in the central office or remotely, and project manage a mix of vendors and FTE resources, partnering across organizational boundaries and geographies.
Manage multi-functional project development work by identifying critical path activities and facilitating collaboration of technical and operational experts as required to drive progress forward.
Develop and maintain project management plan, drive schedule, identify and mitigate project risks, facilitate collaboration of multi-disciplinary subject matter experts (SMEs) and generate project documentation, metrics, decision papers and reporting.
Understand user requirements, especially data requirements, in order to facilitate meetings with business users, stakeholders and development team members.
Plan and schedule project timelines and meetings.
Bridge the gap between development teams and business stakeholders/users with careful attention to needs and requests, making sure information is logged and presented appropriately to both sides.
Monitor, report and follow-up on the status and next steps of all project components.
Effectively identify, adjust for and communicate downstream impacts of project changes Assist in the investigation of data and systems issues, bring ideas to the table, and partner with SMEs to action on them.
Take appropriate steps to navigate project changes effectively, remove barriers and coordinate with a variety of cross-functional project team members.
Ask difficult questions, remove impediments, make issues and problems visible, and escalate as necessary.
Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices to help the team achieve higher levels of agile maturity Mitigate all risks and issues ” Real-time”, executing resolutions on demand.
Lead execution & providing insight, innovation, and expertise to meet or exceed client expectations and achieve goalsQualifications Bachelor’s degree required At least 3 5 years of experience in managing IT projects At least 3 5 years of experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug and maintenance required At least 2 years’ experience with agile methodology Experience with MS Office Suite Must be an excellent communicator, able to effectively communicate to a wide range of audiences at all levels of the organization – both written and verbal.
Strong facilitation skills in leading planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Enjoys solving problems and able to resolve conflicts through strong mediation skills.
Ability to understand complex business needs and translate into a comprehensive set of requirements Ability to identify issues that may impact project success; know when to escalate appropriately and/or workaround the issue Demonstrates ability to analyze project issues and challenges and proactively define alternatives.
Demonstrates ability to work closely with delivery teams to establish expectations and ensure tasks remain on track.
Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (ie Tableau, Cognos, etc.) Experience with SAP, Property Management Systems (ie Resman or Yardi), UltiPro or Monday.Com Experience in Real Estate, Asset Management or Construction industry Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
