Location: Mt.
Sterling, IL Department: Accounts Payable Reports To: Accounts Payable Manager
Your Role: To lead a team of the Accounts Payable Specialists and Clerks with a focus on the effective management of vendor terms and on time payments.
Develops and maintains work schedules of supervised staff and coverage plans for time off
Works closely with suppliers to resolve payment or deduction issues
Reviews weekly reports and aids team members on outstanding issues
Works closely with the Accounts Payable Management Team to set goals and design personal development plans
Participates in the hiring process of prospective new hires
Trains assigned personnel on the accounting systems
Conducts performance reviews and manage development plans for staff
Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste
Role Specifics:
Supervision – Team of 4 or 5 Accounts Payable Specialists and Clerks
Travel – Occasional overnight travel to internal events and trainings.
Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train

We Need You To Have:
Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent Dot Foods experience
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Ability to lead in a team environment
Effective planning and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks
