We have a current opportunity for an Account Manager responsible for managing existing, and developing new, third party and environmental consultant accounts four our Long Island, NY territory.
Accountable for organic growth within this market segment, in order to exceed assigned territory budget.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1-3 years industry or relevant experience
• Prior sales experience in the hazardous waste industry preferred Certification/Licenses:
• Valid drivers license
• OSHA HAZWOPER Certification Knowledge, Skills and Ability:
• Excellent computer skills
• Strong team player
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to work with little or no supervision

• Ability to negotiate effectively
• Working knowledge and current use of Salesforce.com is a plus
• Develop and maintain technical understanding of all site capabilities and service lines Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Actively prospect and seek new business opportunities within assigned base and new clients
• Demonstrate ability to negotiate pricing and contract requirements
• Ensure signed service agreements are in place for new clients
• Prepare and deliver client quotes
• Meet or exceed the threshold for established minimum number of sales calls per week
• Actively use CRM to manage your client relationships, pipeline, and record all valuable insights
• Promote communication and coordination between sales, operations, customer service, and clients
• Manage profitability in your assigned territory.
Ensure compliance with branch pricing policy
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue objectives
• Maintain Account Plans for all significant clients
