Job Summary
A Customer Success Manager is responsible for ensuring that customer needs are translated properly and understood by all internal departments that may handle any issues pertaining to the customer. They also assist with handling complaints and ensure that customers have the best possible experience. In general, a Customer Success Manager acts as the link between BatchService and our customers. They are responsible for maintaining excellent customer relationships by helping customers achieve their specific business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build strong customer relationships to maintain current business and pursue upsell or upgrade opportunities
  • Communicate with customers to ensure that all of their questions or concerns are addressed
  • Assist customers in interpreting the results of their campaigns and make appropriate suggestions to improve performance
  • Identify and act quickly on opportunities to enhance customer experience and drive customer engagement
  • Act as the customer’s liaison to ensure that their needs are met by collaborating with various internal departments with a focus on improving the customer experience
  • Collect and analyze data concerning customer behavior to understand changing needs
  • Meet Daily/Weekly/Quarterly KPIs (key performance indicators) communicated to you by the 5th of each month via email from your direct manager.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Stellar problem-solving skills to help resolve customer complaints or needs
  • Superior computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of CRMs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate products to customers
  • Strong organizational skills and pays strict attention to detail
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Persuasive and unafraid to negotiate; has good business sense
  • Up-to-date on the latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with different types of customers
  • Time management and multitasking skills in order to handle multiple tasks and customers at once
  • Must have reliable transportation
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may encounter light to moderate exertion in lifting, moving, or carrying lightweight supplies and equipment. Daily assignment involves application of manual skills requiring motor coordination and finger dexterity. E.g. typing, filing, machine operation etc. Position requires 90% sitting and/or standing time and 10% intermittent body movement such as walking, standing, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling and reaching. May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
