This is a Full-time position in CA posted May 6, 2020.

Lead/own projects that demonstrate strategic planning and creative thinking as well as drive news and launches for events Serve as strategic advisor to senior-level communications clients and C-level executives for development and execution of integrated communications campaigns Maintain in-depth knowledge of the clients’ business and culture, competition and latest industry trends Grow, manage, and maintain client relationships with key, senior level media/influencers; proactively engage on issues Solicit and share feedback/perception from media and influencers regarding client(s) competition and position in the industry Develop and maintain relationships with key influentials including press, gamers and industry luminaries Lead engagement with executives and support of their individual social media platforms Establish social media objectives and goals across the account(s) Partner with clients to establish the strategic direction for social media engagements Contribute to agency strategic planning initiatives Oversee resource allocation across team including staffing, hiring, and onboarding new talent Manage career development and performance of direct reports, managing up to senior staff on crisis issues, and client/team satisfaction while holding the team accountable to demonstrating agency values Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum/Preferred Requirements: 6 years’ communications experience, including work in the gaming industry Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or related communications field is preferred, or equivalent knowledge and/or experience Experience with communications (in-house or agency) for large companies; Fortune-500 a plus Proven record of developing and executing communications strategies and campaigns that positively influence internal and external audiences Active understanding of competitive contexts and how to shape resulting strategies Fierce commitment to the audience; ability to match a brand’s storytelling opportunities to audience needs Experience designing effective social media strategies Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills Understands the concept of integrated communications and how earned, owned and paid content work together to solve business challenges Fanatic about customer service; works vigorously to earn and keep client relationships Able to find, analyze and use data to measure content effectiveness and make recommendations based on impact; evolve strategies, tactics and increase content success rates as a result Strong team leader who can effectively manage, motivate, develop and coach a group of super-smart people Strong networking skills with the ability to forge relationships with colleagues and clients Strong writing and editing skills Extra credit for being a passionate video gamer
