Let your passion for people be the driver of your success Sodexo is seeking a Director, Operations-Environmental Services for our Healthcare Segment – Operational Excellence team . This key role will be responsible for creating and translating Sodexo’s Environmental Services Operations playbook and identifying best practices to bring continuous innovation and solutions in support of our field operations. The Director, Environmental Services will manage a team of (2) Directors of Operations and (1) Senior Manager of Technical Support. This is a remote / virtual role, with annual travel up to 40 – 50% This position will collaborate with the Service Operations- Soft Services Team, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and other Operational Excellence (OpEx) leaders. This role will also be responsible for driving operational excellence for Environmental Services programs, offers, initiatives and solutions enhancing the patient and customer experience. The successful candidate will: Have strong, healthcare environmental services experiences with demonstrated results Have working knowledge of infection control standards Have working knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards for environmental services Understanding of Sodexo’s Site Management System tool which is utilized by field operations to manage their business operations. Demonstrates working knowledge of health care life cycle analysis and costs to deliver environmental services, contract management for environmental services, vendor management and service level agreements Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who: have a strong financial acumen maintain the departmental mission and vision statement, goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Time Framed (SMART)), objectives, and scope of services. have experience managing multiple team members capable of managing multiple priorities at once can develop exceptional internal and external client relations and ensure the facility’s product offerings/solutions align with client needs can establish department reporting out on key performance improvement activities (e.g., goals, key indicators, data collection, and effectiveness of process change ensure compliance with federal regulations, standards and professional standards related to workspace design, labor, transport, and maintenance and operations of environmental services drive solutions that optimize Sodexo’s environmental service offerings; partner with Healthcare Marketing and Operations to optimize environmental services develop and execute a strategy to accelerate environmental services throughout the country lead and motivate the management team, inspiring strategic direction; secure and/or deploy resources; cultivate relationships with clients and other teams within Sodexo; ensure the fulfillment of all contract commitments; sustain client satisfaction and retention; and maintain strong employee relations Employees in Healthcare and Seniors are required to be fully vaccinated as a term and condition of employment at Sodexo no later than February 28, 2022, absent a legally required exception, and are required to report their vaccination status and upload proof of vaccination via an online portal. After February 28, you must be fully vaccinated before you can start work. Fully vaccinated by February 28 means: Obtain the first dose of a two-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022; and the second dose no later than February 28, 2022; or Obtain one dose of a single-dose vaccine no later than January 27, 2022 Position Summary Responsible for providing operational support to existing and prospective client account’s within a division or regional area within a division. Directs the support of one or more operational functions to support and to maintain compliance with the client contract. Aligns services in support of company or divisional initiatives. Provide services in support of the sales effort through feasibility studies, pricing, and quality service. Directs resources in response to client account needs and requests. Provides leadership and training to client accounts on operational subject matters. Supervises a team of operational/project support positions.
