WAREHOUSE WORKER – RECEIVING AND STOCKING DALLAS, TX SHIFT: 6AM – 1:30PM Project Description: FUNCTION AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES JOB SUMMARY: Receiving and Stocking Clerk is responsible for: Receiving incoming products and verifying packing lists Delivering incoming goods and/or taking products to their designated locations.
This includes: Package deliveries Complete pallet handling Pallet breakdown and stocking Counting inventory Documentation of deliveries Rotating product General housekeeping.
This position is an hourly position, working 40 hours per week with occasional required overtime.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Unload, and receive product.
Put away product received on its assigned place.
Turn in all receiving documentation Follows documented work instructions for job.
Maintains clean work area.
Safely drive a standup forklift.
Follows all safety and company policies.
Any other responsibilities directed by the Supervisor.
Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED.
2 years’ experience of General Warehouse work.
Must have knowledge of warehouse fundamentals including, stocking, loading and inventory.
Must be able to operate a standup forklift.
Must be able to communicate effectively with fellow employees.
Must be able to understand, speak and read English.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
INTERACTION BETWEEN: Contact with Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Service, Laser and Packing departments.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work in a un-air conditioned warehouse on a continued basis.
Must be able to work alone frequently with minimum supervision, as well as with others continually.
NEEDED ATTRIBUTES: Aptitudes: Self driven, ability to communicate, ability to make simple calculations, good vision and organize logically.
Temperament: Must be able to observe prescribed safety standards, work well with people.
This 2 month position starts ASAP.
