Truckload Specialist Summary: A Grand Rapids area logistics and transportation company is seeking a Truckload Specialist to assist their growing team If you love the logistics field and fast-paced creative problem solving, this could be your next opportunity.
Truckload Specialist Responsibilities : Contact carriers to negotiate rates and book trucks Dispatch drivers to pick up loads as needed Search websites and other sources to identify available carriers to satisfy client needs Solicit and evaluate proposals for the requested service Investigate and/or interview potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements.
Supply and maintain external load boards with postings Support account managers to identify customer/client needs Truckload Specialist Qualifications: Previous Logistics field experience required Reasoning, problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Procedural mindset, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
