Truck Driver

**Overview****PRIMARY FUNCTION**Ensures the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of materials to proper job site.**Responsibilities****Position Responsibilities**+ Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.+ Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE.+ Exercise and encourage core values including but not limited to; developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment+ Responsible for pick-up and delivery of material in a safe and time manner.+ Communicate truck / job status.+ Maintains appearance of truck, proper air pressure in tires, proper fluid levels, oil, hydraulic coolant and fuel.+ Performs minor repairs to truck as needed.+ Maintains load in transit to job site.+ Ensure that safety, compliance, environmental and DOT requirement are followed at all times.+ Keeps accurate DOT logs and load sheets+ Performs pre-and post-trip inspections to ensure safe operation of truck.+ Additional task as assigned and trained at job site including housekeeping.**Qualifications****KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES****Required Education** : High School diploma/GED**Required Work Experience:** 3-5 years of experience preferred**Licenses Preferred:** Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License**Required Computer and Software Skills:** Experience with basic computer applications**Additional Requirements:**+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written); ability to express written and verbal information in a clear, concise, well-organized manner+ Ability to plan and organize work+ Able to initiate action to achieve goals beyond what is required+ Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to change+ Self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team environment+ Effective interpersonal skills#HOLCIM2Click to view Company Benefits Overview (https://lafarge-na.icims.com/icims2/servlet/icims2?module=AppInert&action=download&id=332309&hashed=-1767320747)EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled**Position Type** _Hourly Full-Time_**# of Openings** _1_**Requisition ID** _2021-12624_**Category** _Manufacturing_**Product Line** _Geocycle_**Job Locations** _US-SC-Dorchester_**Company** _Holcim (US) Inc._
