– 5 DAYS ON/2 DAYS OFF 3 MONTHS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED MUST LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES OF DES MOINES, IA DESCRIPTION Drivers could haul products with pork ingredients or alcohol The fleet operates back and forth between IA, IL, WI and MN
– 80% of the time, driver will operate between IA and IL (& surrounding 13 rail ramps in Chicago area)
– There are 6 main rail ramps in these markets Drivers will also make the occasional run to St Paul MN, MO and WI rail ramps
– running Iowa (70%), Minnesota,Southern Illinois and Wisconsin (25%), other Midwest states (5%) You will occasionally operate out of the Minneapolis rail as well.

All freight is on Container/Chassis combination Loads are pre-planned several hours in advance and if ETA’s are set correctly, driver should be preplanned before arrival to allow driver to keep rolling.

Home Time: PICK Any shift BUT Monday
– Friday.

There is a $150/week worked bonus to drivers that work Thursday-Monday or Friday – Tuesday ($7.8K per year).

This is an activity based bonus, so it will only be paid out when drivers work 5 full days on the schedule.

NO TOUCH FREIGHT HAZMAT REQUIRED WITHIN 60 DAYS OF HIRE
– REIMBURSED TO DRIVER PAY AND BENEFITS For the first 12 weeks drivers will be flushed up to $1000 per week with the balance of the $5000 paid at 90 days Starting pay: 45 cpm
– pay increase 0.01 cpm yearly up to 50 cpm
– Avg 1900 miles/wk, but drivers could run as many as 2800 miles per week if utilizing hours and setting ETA’s properly.

Paid on Rand McNally miles.

$15 Detention for 1st hour and $20 every hour after (detention does not start until 1.5 hours has passed) 80% Drop/Hook; 20% Live Load/Unload $35 Drop/Hook $65 Live Load/Unload (detention still applies) $15/hr rail delay pay (delay pay does not start until 1 hour has passed) $15/hr breakdown pay (from time of breakdown until repair) $15/hr empty search pay (after the first assigned location) $25 hazmat load $75 per day Layover pay $1350 weekly avg.
