has an immediate opening for a Load Planner/ Dispatcher in Vineland, NJ.

This position coordinates all functions of load planning and freight movement.

This candidate will be required to secure freight from outside sources.

The responsibilities of a Load Planner include the following duties and tasks and all related work: Provide coverage for scheduled loads Make daily schedule and prompt reschedule Locate assets Arrange appointment times as necessary with customers and suppliers Coordinate with team to determine best utilization of drivers Efficiently schedules drivers’ routes Ensures on-time delivery of products to the customers Secure freight from outside sources and builds profitable routes Communicate with maintenance facility Handle breakdowns Able to multitask and operate computer systems Communication between all departments Listen to customers’ comments, responds appropriately, and forwards issues to appropriate person/department, or using company procedures Inputs data into spreadsheet format Able to be on-call Experience required: TMW Innovative AS400 IBMi Series 3 years minimum as dispatcher (with tankers is a plus) Experience in Food Grade tanker transportation services is a PLUS.
