Drives tank truck/bobtail to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, lubricating oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers by performing the following duties.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of AS 400 accounting and inventory software.
Certificates and Licenses:
A valid CDL Class B driver’s license with applicable endorsements, DOT physical and commercial insurability must be maintained at all times. The driver must keep valid endorsements required by the industry in place at all times. CETP training as required by industry and Heartland Co-op standards.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
