NON CDL Local Driver Upper Marlboro MD Weekends Required

Daily experience:

In these positions you will be delivering 10-lb bags of ice to local stores and gas stations etc. that have the Reddy Ice freezers on site. You will likely spend more time doing this activity than actual driving. These positions are highly-physical positions and involve repetitive movement of 10 pound bags of ice all day.

This job also involves using a forklift and working in the warehouse when there are no deliveries to be made at the time. During the warm months it will be all driving, but as we enter the cold season, there will be more time inside.

Hours:

When the weather is hot or even warm, there will be overtime which is paid at time and a half over 40 hours. The average hours during or busy time (warm weather), will be 60-65 hours per week. Since Sat and Sunday are the busiest days of the week, your time off during busy season will fall during the week most of the time.

Our slow season (cold winter) the overtime will not exist and you will be working a 40-hour work week each winter. The time frame for the loss of the overtime hours depends on your location and if or when you experience cold months.

Requirements:

Good driving record (experience driving a plus)

Ability to work weekends most of the time

Ability to work overtime (up to 65 hours during busy times).
