– Pay Rate: $15/hr.
/ Team Leads $17/hr.
– Day Shift: 5:45 am – 2:45pm
– Evening Shift: 4:30 pm – 1:30am
– Additional .70 ₡ per hour Shift differential for Evening Shift
– Must complete work on each shift even after 8 hours.
– No Swing Shifts Job Summary: The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations performing physical requirements including, but not limited to, standing, lifting, bending, squatting, and reaching; Adhering to standardized processes and procedures to ensure the safety of all team members and exceptional quality for all our customers.
The job duties associated with this position require manually loading and unloading tugger carts at multiple stop locations within the material overflow area as they as they arrive and prepare for departure from the direct line delivery.
To be successful in this position this person must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing work environment.
This position requires constant walking and mounting/dismounting of material handling equipment as well as repetitive movements.
In addition, they must also be able to lift to 25 pounds repetitively without assistance from others.
The need for speed is crucial for this position since it takes place in a busy automotive warehouse environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Always adhere to company safe material handling standards.
· Operate Tuggers, Pallet Jacks, Forklifts (stand-up & sit-down)
· Remove empty totes from cart and place in designated return slots.
· Load full totes of components onto tugger carts trucks, stock small parts to conveyors, replenishment of flow racks and pallet locations as needed.
· Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
· Follow standard work requirements and verify part labels and quantity of totes loaded are correct as you load the required totes.
· Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
· Operate mechanical equipment to move larger package shipments.
· Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
· Reviews shipments for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
· Confirms shipping details or special instructions; expedites shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule.
· Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids).
· When problems arise, resolves issues with customer interfaces.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must be at least 18 years of age at time of application.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
· Must have at least 18 months experience in a production or manufacturing work environment.
· Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 30 pounds.
· Must be able to operate a forklift (stand-up / sit-down), Tuggers, Pallet Jacks
· Excellent attention to detail
· Consistent, on-time Attendance every day
· Working daily and weekend overtime when required based on business needs.
Overtime is mandatory when required.

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· At least two years of related experience in a production/operations environment required.
Physical / Safety Requirements:
· 9 to 10-hour workdays
· Prolonged periods of standing
· Must be able to lift to 55 pounds at a time
· Must wear safety gear, such as steel-toed shoes, gloves, ball cap, sleeves, safety glasses, hearing protection.
· ARD Team wear must be worn.
Shirts must be always tucked into pants.
