Malco Products, Inc.: Malco Of Ohio Delivery Driver

Reporting Relationship: Malco of Ohio General Manager Location: Malco of Ohio Akron Warehouse (Romig Rd.)Shift: 1st Education: A minimum of a high school diploma is required.

Work Experience: A minimum of 1 year of delivery / warehouse / shipping and receiving experience is preferred but not required; preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and able to operate / drive a box truck.

General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office) is a plus.

Principal Area of Responsibility: Responsible for staging orders for delivery and for the actual delivery of products to local Northeast Ohio customers (Akron / Cleveland area).

Support the sales and administrative staff of Malco of Ohio as needed.

Specific Duties: Ø Pull and stage orders of product for delivery.Ø Deliver sales orders to customers in NE Ohio on behalf of the sales associates (to include 55-gallon drums).

Ø Must have invoices signed by customer and collect money if the customer is on C.O.D.

payment terms.Ø Ability to operate / drive a box truck.

Ø Maintain inventory at the Malco of Ohio Barberton warehouse.

Assist in keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.

(i.E, putting away stock, rotating stock in accordance with FIFO, work with Operations Manager to maintain sufficient inventory levels, etc.) Ø Communicate with the Operations Manager regarding orders placed and received.Ø Provide support as needed to the Malco of Ohio sales associates.Ø Maintain an open line of communication with the Malco of Ohio sales associates, Sales Manager and Operations Manager.Ø Follow all Company policies and procedures in accordance with the Company Employee Handbook as well as OSHA guidelines and requirements.

Ø Understand OSHA and DOT training requirements and standards.

· Incumbent must physically and mentally perform the job demands as listed above.
· While performing this job, the individual may be required to bend, stoop, walk, sit, drive, sit for long periods of time driving, kneel, speak, listen, and lift heavy product.
