Hiring Local CDL Class A Truck Drivers:

Duties and Responsibilities:

– Performs DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

– Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as needed.

– Gives customers prompt and courteous service.

– Identifies proper underground storage tanks for delivery at all locations.

– Responds to Hazmat spills within scope of Hazmat Operative Level training.

Qualifications:

– Must be of legal age to work in the state or local city or town.

– Maintains mandatory driving certifications (CDL license, medical, HAZMAT, TWIC endorsements).

– Complete knowledge of petroleum tankers, and safe procedures practicing safe driving skills including defensive driving.

– Knows proper responses and handling of gas spills and reporting procedures.

– Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.

– Clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

– Meet all DOT requirements regarding medical qualifications.

– Participate in a Drug and Alcohol Testing program.

– Position has physical requirements which requires, lifting, squatting and climbing and working in all weather conditions.
