DS-118444 Agency: Direct 3/29/21Hiring Tanker Company DriversBenefits:* Pay Package* Starting pay is $.60 per mile loaded $.50 per mile empty* Average $1,500 – $1,800 per week* $70,000 – $75,000 a year$850 per month Safety BonusComprehensive medical and dental insurance with affordable driver contribution401K/Profit-sharingCompany-paid holidaysTwo weeks paid vacation after one yearGroup life insurance at no cost to youFree uniform programAssigned late-model equipmentElectronic logs, Prepass, and IpassPaid orientation and training programRequirements:* Drivers must be at least 21 years of age* Be able to read and speak the English language* Be authorized to work in the United States* 6 months experience preferred – will take drivers out of driving school with additional training** Have a valid commercial drivers license with a tanker endorsement – hazardous material drivers must also have hazardous materials (HM) endorsement)* Have no preventable accidents in the previous twelve months in a commercial motor vehicle on a public roadway* Have no major accidents, including roll-overs, in the last three years* Have no more than two moving violations within the past three years* No DUI or DWI within the last three years* Be in physical condition to perform all duties required by the driver’s job description* Be in good health and able to pass a DOT physical examination and drug test and post-offer dexterity screen test (only company drivers are required to pass a dexterity test)* Have only one commercial drivers license (CDL) issued to them with the ability to obtain a TWIC card and a passport or Pass Card* Be able to pass a company road test* Submit to a criminal background check* Any felony convictions must receive corporate review before the continuation of the hiring process* Attend and complete the minimum required training days training with a company-authorized driver trainer and at the company Training and Development Center
