Delivery Driver
A day in the life of Delivery Drive would be,
You would begin work on Monday-Wednesday at 6am and work until 11am.
On these days you would prepare the Truck and Trailer for the trip to our warehouse in Chino Hills California.
These days the delivery driver works a shorter shift that which allows them to spend some additional time with their family, run errands, and relax.
On these shorter days their responsibilities are filling the truck with fuel, filling it with DEF, taking the truck to get washed weekly, washing the trailer if needed, taking the truck or trailer to be serviced at the mechanic’s shop.
Inspecting the truck and verifying it meets or exceeds DOT safety guidelines.
After completing all inspections and services the Deliver driver will load their trailer for their trip.
The loading process can be done by themselves or with help and may require lifting up to 100 pounds by themselves and team lifting or using moving aids with items exceeding 150 pounds.
Once the trailer is loaded and verified by the team lead that nothing is missing they are ready for the road.
Thursday and Friday the Delivery Driver will be driving to California and back.
Their expenses are taken care of by the company and they will received a $30 dollar per day per deim for their food.
They will stay at a hotel in Chino Hills California which will be taken care of by the company.
When they reach our warehouse in California the delivery driver will be required to unload the trailer and place items in specific places for our California Installation team to be able to find efficiently.
After they have unloaded the trailer they will be required on occasion to travel to Oxnard California to pick up product.
Once the product is picked up and loaded or if the pick up is not required they can start their travel back to St.
